Most of the time, publishers farm out that sort of work, so the insensitive and inaccurate quotes are not too surprising. Perhaps Candlewick will take note of the issues and correct them, even if in a later print run.<br /><br />The issue of translation is tricky. It's a good gesture to translate the book into Asháninka—especially given the fact that this book is for the US market, and there are virtually no speakers of that language in this country.
